Marrakech – Tizi-N-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley/Gorges

We will you pick up from your hotel/riad and start our journey from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. Across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and we continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour). We will have lunch at Ait benhaddou or Ouarzazate and continue to Dades valley, we will spend the night in a riad/hotel in the Dades Gorges.

Dades Valley - Merzouga via Todra Gorge

Today’s target point is arriving to Merzouga which is known for the highest sand dunes in North Africa. THE DESERT! It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert and it is about 20 kms long and 5 kms wide and is a unique, multifaceted environment.  On our way, we will have the chance to see many oases such as the oasis of Tinjdad. We will continue our tour passing through the little Berber towns of Mellab and Touroug. Arrive to Rissani where we will have lunch. After this break, we will continue our way enjoying the green oasis of palm trees of Ziz –Tafilalet and the black Hamada before arriving to Merzouga. Later we will enjoy bathing in the warm waters as well as having a local dinner and listen to Berber music. Night in a Riad

Merzouga 4x4 Nomads - Camel Trekking

After breakfast in your hotel you will start discovering Merzouga. We will drive all around Merzouga and the sand dunes and visit the nomads in their tents. Moreover you will visit the Gnawa house (live music of black people) in village called Khamlia. You will meet Gnawa people and hear their music and experience their lifestyle. Afterwards you will head to Rissani, and in this town you will visit traditional market that was in the pasr main station for the trades Caravans where they sell dates, clothing and some of the finest Moroccan handcrafts…. After lunch in Rissani you will drive back to Merzouga where you will find the camels waiting for you .you start your trek from there to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi enjoying the sunset and spend a night in traditional Berber camp.

Merzouga – Draa Valley- Ouarzazate

You’ll wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes then ride back on your camel to the hotel where you’ll have breakfast and shower. We then continue the trip towards the vast palm of Tafilalet through the town of Rissani (the root of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of Sultans Alaouite) Continue to Alnif lunch in the right place. Carry on the road via Tazarine, N’kob and Tansihkt from here we will take an off road which crosses the Draa Valley, it would be your chance again to see the Ksours and Kasbahs. Arrive to OUARZAZATE
Overnight in Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate – Berber Villages – Back To Marrakech Trough Tizi-N-Tichka

Transfer to Ait benhaddou village, and visit the World Heritage Site, one of Morocco’s most spectacular ksours (fortified villages). Continue to Marrakech with a detour to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and visit the Kasbah el Glaoui and crossing the high Atlas mountain.Arrive Marrakesh and the end of the trip.
