Tour 3 Days to Merzouga Desert from Fez ending in Fes

Day 1 : Fes - Midelt - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

In the morning we pick you up from your accommodation in Fes then we will start our journey which will take us along the beautiful south road, where the landscape changes dramatically from the snowy hills of Ifrane the cleanest city in Morocco to the Cedar Forest of the middle Atlas then the dry weather of the desert. Along the way we will stop to visit the Ifran’s Lion, then we will stop to visit the Atlas apes, we continue our way to join Awfouss Oasis, one of the largest oases in North Africa. Upon your arrival to Merzouga you will camel trek crossing the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to spend a night of your lifetime under the clear sky, in nomad tents in a camp in the middle of the desert.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

After breakfast and stunning sunrise over the sand dunes return to Merzouga on the back of your camels. In Merzouga enjoy your breakfast and have a chance to shower before our departure.

Today we will to visit The great “sand sea” of Merzouga, a beautiful area of fine, apricot – colored sand stretches as far as the eye can see. In the morning explore bit the region. We will visit the ancient city of Rissani that thrived through the 8th to 14th century and the small village of Khamilla where we listen and watch the descendants of black slaves playing the typical music of the region – Gnawa. . Then late afternoon we return to the hotel night at the hotel with dinner and breakfast

Day 3 : Merzouga To Fes Via Rissani - Erfoud

After breakfast, then we hit the road back to the cultural capital of Morocco, passing though the historical town of Rissani, the cradle of the Alouiste Dysnasty, the current rulling dynasty, then we continue our road via the fossils town of Erfoud where we can have an optional stop to visit one of the biggest fossils warehouses, in order that you get a closer look of how these marvelous rocks are polished. We continue our journey via the ziz valley, Midelt and pass through the city of Ifrane. Arriving late afternoon in Fes. Drop off at your accommodation
