Rabat is the Capital and the second largest city in Morocco. Since June of 2012 that a set of sites of the city of Rabat are inscribed in the World Heritage list of UNESCO as cultural goods: the ville nouvelle (new town, built in the beginning of the French Protectorate in Morocco), the Kasbah of the Oudaias, the garden of Essais, the almedina, the walls and doors almohads, archaelogical sites of Casablanca and the mosque Hassan (whose minaret is the Hassan Tower), the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the neighborhood of Habous Derb Jamaâ.
