10 Days from Casablanca Grand Tour Morocco

Day 1: Casablanca

We will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca- Rabat- Meknes

After breakfast we will visit the most emblematic places of the city of CASABLANCA.
The mosque of Hassan II is undoubtedly the most important point of the city. The mosque has the highest minaret in the world (more than 200 meters) and is the third largest on the planet.
In Morocco it is the only mosque that non-Muslims can visit.
Its symmetrical adornments combine tradition and modernity of Moroccan art.
It is a really spectacular building.
We will walk along the Boulevard de la Corniche, the Park of Nations, the Place de Mohamed V ….
We will start RABAT, capital of Morocco. This is where we will take lunch.
In the afternoon, we will take a panoramic tour of the exteriors of the Royal Palace and its gardens, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V.
At night, we will arrive at MEKNES.
Here we will spend the night in a riad or hotel.

Day 3: Meknes- Roman Ruins of Volubilis-Fez

After breakfast, we will visit MEKNES. Very quiet city, very nice and divided in the ville nouvelle built by the French and the old part where the medina and the imperial ville of Mulay Ismail.
MEKNES, was the capital of Morocco during the 55 years that Sultan Mulay Ismail commanded.
We will visit the medina, the Bab Mansour Gate, the Jedim Square, the Great Mosque, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum, of course we will take a tour of the souks.
After lunch, we will go to VOLUP. It is the most important archaeological site in the country. Nowadays, VOLUCABILIS allows as few places in the world to imagine in detail the life of the Romans.
In the evening we will arrive at FEZ. Accommodation in the hotel that they have chosen.

Day 4 Fez

After breakfast, we will visit FEZ.
FEZ, a city full of mystery and magnificence, is the most complete medieval medina in the Arab world, treasures world-famous monuments, thousands of winding streets and hundreds of palaces and mansions. UNESCO declared FEZ, World Heritage Site.
We will visit, among other places, the Attarine madrasa, the Karaouine Mosque, the tanners, the Meridines tombs, and the souks.
We will spend all day in FEZ and also the night. You’ll see it’s worth it.

Day 5 Fez- Ifrane -Azrou- Merzouga

We will cross the Middle Atlas with its mountains and plateaus covered with cedars.
On the way we will pass by IFRANE, it is the rarest “oasis” of Morocco: suddenly, and without warning appears in the middle of the country a place where it is cold, with a perfectly straight line, very clean, with houses with orange roofs Alpine style. There is no hustle in the street, no souks. It’s going to look like we’re not in Morocco.
The village is full of parks and lakes. They call it “the Moroccan Switzerland”
We will find in one of its parks the famous sculpture in the shape of a lion’s head that is the symbol of the locality.
To 17 km to the south, we will find the city of AZROU, a Berber city that is located in the crossing between the routes of Meknes, Fez, Jenifra and Midelt. Due to its location, one of the most important markets of the Middle Atlas is celebrated.
At 13km you will find the amazing monkey forest, where you can observe closely and feed these sociable animals.
We will follow route through MIDELT, place where we will stop for lunch.
Before arriving at this town, we will cross a volcanic plain covered with pumice stone.
Following the road, we will arrive at VALLE DEL ZIZ. Here is the largest oasis not only of Morocco, but of all Africa: the TAFILALT
We will stop in the village of ERFOUD, famous for the museum of fossils and minerals.
At the end of the valley we will find the MERZOUGA dune sea.
We will take you to the hotel where you can settle, have dinner; but first, we will go out to the dunes to watch the sunset.

Day 6: Merzouga -Khamlia- Mfiss-Erg Chebbi

Today a great adventure awaits us, we will begin the day savoring the Berber breakfast.
Then with a 4×4 car we will arrive to the village of KHAMLIA to enjoy African music and dances of GNAOUA KHAMLIA-PIGEONS DU SABLE.
We will also visit MFISSS de khol mines.
We will meet a family of nomads, their customs, and we will have lunch with them.
We will be seeing a truly spectacular landscape, on one side the rocky mountains and on the other side the orange dunes of the Sahara.

We will change the car for camels to go to ERG CHEBBI.
We will contemplate the sunset in the dunes. We will be walking in the ERG CHEBBI, a superb cordon of golden dunes that penetrate in the immensity of the Sahara.
We will spend the night in a Berber tent “haima”, we will dine around the fire with music of drums and contemplating the starry sky.

Day 8: Ouarzazate- Marrakech

After lunch we will continue our route to MARRAKECH.
 We will visit the “Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah”, a spectacular fortification protected by UNESCO and located in one of the most beautiful and best preserved adobe villages in Morocco.
There have been filmed several famous films like: LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, JESUS ​​OF NAZARET, GLADIATOR, THE PRINCE OF PERSIA ….
We will stop on the way
 and in the afternoon we will arrive at the village of TELOUET to visit the Kasbah of Glaoui.
Following the route we will arrive at the mountain port of Tizi n’Tichka (2200 m altitude) and crossing the Atlas Mountains, we will reach MARRAKECH.
We will take you to the hotel of your choice.

Day 9: Marrakech-Casablanca

After breakfast, day off so you can get lost in the medina of MARRAKECH.
We will tour the most beautiful places in the city.
After lunch, we will go to CASABLANCA.
On the way we will stop in the city of JADIDA.

Day 10: Casablanca

After breakfast, we will escort you to the airport.
